Hampton Community Centre

"Hampton Community Centre offers a wide range of classes and serves as a meeting place for different groups. I haven't attended any of their classes but what I do do is drop off books to their street library. Always the books are in "as new condition" not like the tat some people drop off and I'm glad to see when I put in new ones my other ones aren't there!! Enjoy readers of Hampton! 29.8 more books to enjoy. 11.9 more books, nearly didn't fit in street library. 24.5.23 here for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, $5 benefit. And I certainly had plenty to eat! A friend of mine couldn't come so I ate her scone and when I was given sandwiches (cheese and ham, chicken or egg) I apologised and said couldn't eat any as a vegetarian and they came back with a cheese sandwich, mini hoummos dip, rice crackers and yoghurt! Too much, gave them back yoghurt. I felt terrible as morning tea a sit down affair whereas I thought buffet style so I was going to just grab a scone or else I would have told them about my dietary requirements. About 50 in attendance and we were even given a performance by a local junior choir, they were so cute! Great job HCC for a great cause."

"A nice community centre. I have sung with Sing Australia Bayside group here for a luncheon for the community. I now attend there on Tuesday nights for Zumba with Larissa 7pm to 8pm. It's a large hall for the Zumba class, and they are a very welcoming group."

"A centre that try's very hard for having something for everyone. Most Wednesdays they have free lunch and chatty Cafe from 11 till 12."

"Absolutely beautiful centre, light and airy. We had a baby shower for my daughter and it was perfect. Room was spacious, had room for coffee station, kitchen to heat food. Thankyou Hampton Community Centre for your lovely, well priced venue...❤"
