Welcome to Youth Central Broadmeadows, located at 37 Pearcedale Parade in Broadmeadows, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing a range of responsive and integrated programs, initiatives, and events that support young people aged 6 to 24 years to connect and thrive.

At Youth Central Broadmeadows, we offer a variety of programs throughout the term to engage and empower young people. One of our flagship programs, the Level Up program, equips young people aged 16-24 with the skills and mindset they need to start a business or enter the workforce. We also have the Hume Youth Engagement and Pathways School Holiday Program, which offers young people a range of social, recreational, and educational development activities.

In addition to our regular programs, we actively participate in community-wide celebrations such as the Victorian Youth Fest, a month-long event that highlights the contributions and achievements of young people in their communities. We also host the Hume Youth Makers Market, where young people can display and sell their handmade items.

Looking ahead, in 2023, we are partnering with Resilience Youth Australia and schools to deliver the Resilience Youth Surveys to all primary and secondary schools in Hume. We are also inviting young people to submit creative pieces for the Hume Youth Anthology 2023, showcasing their unique perspectives and experiences of their community.

At Youth Central Broadmeadows, we are committed to providing tailored supports and programs to meet the specific needs of middle years children and young people, aged 6 to 11 years. We work within a family-centered approach to support parents/carers, families, schools, and communities.

Our Youth Centres offer purpose-built spaces for youth, community, government, and commercial uses. We have a dedicated team, including the Mental Health and Wellbeing Leadership Team and the Networks, Engagement, and Employment Team, who are passionate about supporting young people.

We also offer the Hume Youth YMCA Parliament Program, which enables young people aged 16 to 25 to speak up and be heard about issues they are passionate about. We believe in empowering young leaders, change-makers, and those who want to be more involved in their local community.

As part of our commitment to positive health, social, and economic outcomes for young people aged 6 to 24 years, we align with Hume City Council's Connect & Thrive - A Plan for Young People in Hume, 2022 - 2026. This plan reaffirms our dedication to supporting young people and ensuring their voices are heard.

We are proud to work alongside other youth sector services and convene networks and committees that provide support to young people in the City of Hume. We also acknowledge and celebrate the rich Aboriginal heritage within our municipality, recognizing the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung as the Traditional Custodians of this land and paying respect to Elders past, present, and future.
