"I was sold a Giant Defy by Casey Cycles approximately 5 years ago. They sold me a M-L sized bike, despite the fact that I am 172cm and it was far too large for me. Unfortunately at the time I knew nothing about bikes, so they were able to get a quick sale out of me. Do yourself a favour and purchase elsewhere from a store that has more integrity. There are plenty of stores out there that will give you the proper advice and sell the right sized bike to suit you. Edited to address the questions asked by the business in their reply to me: “How come you waited 5 years to address any of your sizing concerns?” As stated in my original review, at the time I was a novice to cycling, so didn’t know any different. It is only recently as I’ve taken it more seriously that I’ve realised I was sold the incorrect size to make a quick dollar. “Why did you not attempt to contact us for a solution?” As stated above, I was a novice to cycling and by the time I started to take it more seriously and realised the business had sold me the wrong size a number of years had passed and I knew that they would deem it an unreasonable amount of time to offer a solution. All of this could have been avoided if the business and its staff had done the right thing and not sold a M-L size bike to a 172cm person. In their reply to me, the person stated “We pride ourselves on taking the time to address everyone's needs, sizing is one of those factors and as a store there is nothing to gain by overlooking this step.” If that were the case, I never would have been sold the bike in the first place."
"Great business, got up this morning thought I would buy a new bike, stopped in at Casey, was provided great insight, selected a bike that suited my purpose and immediately set up for my size and weight. Allowed me to pay on site via EFT and wheeled out my new rig in 15 minutes. Wouldn’t consider another business in this space after the experience. Thank you."
"Had my track bike checked here for some chirping sound. The guys here are great, easy to deal with and they do a thorough job. They looked the bike right over and replaced the bottom bracket all for very cheap and fast turn around. Will be back thanks!"
"Have bought a couple of bikes and stuff from here and generally the service is good. love supporting the local business. the only downside is on a few occasion the service has been quite abrupt and rude from one of the staff. I try to get Dale as he is just awesome to deal with. Update Dale called me today about my review which was surprising. Had a good chat about what happened and wow, great that he took it onboard, understanding that people in retail have off days and can't be perfect every time. changed to 5 STAR mate."
