About Green Point Medical Centre
Welcome to Green Point Medical Centre, a trusted institution located at Green Point, Link Road, 2 in Australia. As a leading healthcare provider, we offer a range of services including general medical consultations, pathology services, and telehealth consultations.
At Green Point Medical Centre, we understand the importance of convenience for our patients. That's why most of our GPs offer phone consultations, allowing you to receive medical advice and prescriptions from the comfort of your own home. However, please note that telehealth consultations are privately billed, unless your GP decides to bulk bill. It is essential to have an existing and continuous relationship with your GP in order to qualify for Medicare rebates for telehealth services.
During your telehealth consultation, it is crucial to find a quiet room and allow a one-hour window surrounding your appointment, as your doctor may occasionally run late. To make the most of your consultation, we recommend making a list of topics you wish to discuss, including any medications or referrals you may require.
In addition to our medical services, Green Point Medical Centre is proud to have partnered with Laverty Pathology. They are now available on-site every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8.00 am to 12.30 pm. No appointment is necessary; simply bring your pathology form to the reception desk for efficient and convenient service.
Given the current concerns surrounding COVID-19, we understand the need for accurate information. Please refer to our COVID-19 Symptoms Identification Chart below for further guidance. Our medical professionals are here to address any concerns you may have and provide the necessary support.
For existing patients, we now offer a repeat prescription service for e-scripts or pick up. To be eligible for this service, you must have obtained the prescription from your doctor within the past year. Please note that there is a fee of $25 for this service, and requests will only be completed by your regular doctor at the practice. If your regular doctor is unavailable, we kindly ask you to make an appointment at the practice for your prescription request. Our doctors will review and facilitate your request, which may take up to 1-3 business days to complete. If your request is declined, it indicates that your treatment needs reviewing by your doctor, and an appointment will be necessary. In such cases, you will not be charged for your request.
At Green Point Medical Centre, your health and well-being are our top priorities. We strive to provide comprehensive and accessible healthcare services, ensuring that you receive the care you deserve. Contact us today to schedule an appointment or to learn more about our services.

Reviews of Green Point Medical Centre
"The medical staff are so rude, when I was sick and struggling to talk they were impatient and trying to finish my sentences for me. They insulted my parent that was with me. They are not equip to deal with medical emergencies in a timely fashion. They are not clear when talking and mumble causing them to miss speak and cause confusion. The only thing they are good for is quickly getting in for an appointment but that is probably because they dont keep customers. I had the worst and most unprofessional experience ever with them."
"Wow. Where do I start? The time the Dr refused to give me my prescription for my chronic illness because he wanted to give me a pap smear, even though I was up to date? The time I got the flu shot (I have anaphylaxis to certain medications) and the nurse said "if you have an anaphylactic reaction, just scream and give yourself your EpiPen", or the time the Dr told me they didn't know whether I should put heat or ice on my swollen limbs. I was also told, "what do you want me to do about it?" I've come out today more upset than when I went in. Would not recommend!"
"I have never felt so embarrassed and violated when seeing Dr Gupta. I had a phone appointment on Monday as I have the flu. He then said he can't tell what's wrong unless he sees me in person. I then went yesterday ( Tuesday) to have an appointment. I wasn't allowed into the surgery so he came outside after me waiting 20 mins with no chair. He then says that he needs to hear my chest. I told him I have no bra on. He didn't care and just lifted my shirt and exposed my breasts to everyone driving into the carpark. When I said something and pulled my top down he then shouted at me to not be so angry and how is he supposed to do it then. I then left in tears feeling so violated and upset and embarrassed. I would hate for this to happen to any other young girl goes though this. This man should not be allowed to work with any woman at all. He is a disgrace to your surgery"
"I left the medical centre today with my 6 month old baby in absolutely shock. I had to see Dr Maria Kahloon as our usual GP wasn’t available and under direction from our treating medical team at Sydney Childrens hospital, we just needed a simple referral for ongoing treatment. Dr Kahloon was rude from the moment my daughter and I entered the room. I might add our appointment was running over by 30 minutes and I had a very tired and hungry baby. I don’t feel Dr Kahloon listened to me at all, she was dismissive and condescending regarding my daughters care and condition. I have also submitted a formal complaint as I don’t think that people should leave a medical practice feeling worse emotionally than they arrived."
"Undoubtedly the worst doctors on the Central Coast. I don't say that lightly. Made official complaint about one doctor. The other is so tactless when dealing with sensitive issues, especially around female health, that I would not recommend any female to visit her. Finale comes as... Called to make appointment about booster, booked appointment for booster, got text message of morning of booster to confirm appointment, took time off work to go to appointment BUT arrive to be told nurses aren't on until later in the day and that there's no appointment. The only win for this doctor's surgery is the front staff are always friendly."
