Welcome to Dianella Community Centre, located at 6 Congo Drive, Tarneit, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our mission is to support residents, community leaders, associations, and groups in running activities, programs, and events for the wider neighborhood to participate in and connect.

At Dianella Community Centre, we strive to reflect the aspirations and strengths of the Tarneit neighborhood. We offer hireable rooms and spaces, with priority given to community groups and organizations that align with the aspirations and needs of the local communities.

One of the important initiatives we support is Homelessness Week, which takes place from August 6th to 13th. This annual event aims to raise awareness of the impact of homelessness in Australia, educate people about the support they can offer, and promote preventative strategies. Additionally, it encourages people in the community to donate items to assist those experiencing homelessness and hardship.

In the lead up to Homelessness Week, Wyndham Council will be coordinating a donation drive from June to August, collecting long-life food and personal care items at selected community centers, including Dianella Community Centre.

Our center offers a range of spaces for hire, catering to various needs. We prioritize community groups and organizations that share our commitment to meeting the aspirations and needs of local communities. We also want to acknowledge and pay respect to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first peoples of Australia. We recognize the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. Their connection to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills, and red clay of this Country is deeply valued. We honor their Ancestors and Elders who have always cared for Country and community, both today and for future generations.
