About the Business
Welcome to Wyndham Park Play Space, located in the heart of the City Centre in Victoria's City of Wyndham, Werribee. This newly renovated park is a stunning $13 million project by Wyndham City, transforming it into a vibrant recreation and events hub along the picturesque Werribee River.
Prepare to be amazed as you explore the range of new attractions that have been added to the park. Children will be delighted by the adventure playground, featuring an impressive 11-meter tower with a thrilling spiral slide. There are also climbing structures, small see-saws, spinning wheels, and more, ensuring endless fun for kids of all ages. Rest assured, the slide is enclosed in a fire-proof metal tube to prevent any vandalism.
Beyond the playground, you'll discover an array of amenities designed for your enjoyment. Take advantage of the exercise equipment, perfect for staying active and fit. Enjoy a leisurely picnic with friends and family at the well-equipped picnic facilities. Explore the park's walking tracks and improved cycling paths, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Werribee River and its surrounding environment, adorned with additional trees and plants.
Conveniently, there are several public car parks located near the park in the Werribee City Centre, ensuring easy access for visitors. Drop-off areas can be found in Comben Drive, and there are various car parks in and around Watton Street, Synnot Street, and Cottrell Street.
If you're seeking more adventure, the Werribee Skate Park is just around the corner. Built as part of the Level Crossing Removal Project, this skate park offers shelter from the sun and rain, nestled amongst the rail bridge columns.
We understand that your furry friends are an important part of the family, which is why Wyndham Park is dog-friendly. Feel free to bring your dog along, but please remember to keep them on a leash, as there is no dedicated off-lead area within the park. If you're looking for off-leash areas in Wyndham, visit www.wyndham.vic.gov.au and search for 'Dog Off Lead Areas' for more information.
Safety is a top priority at Wyndham Park. In collaboration with the Police and the Werribee City Centre Safety Group, we have implemented measures to ensure a secure environment. Clear sightlines, active spaces, good lighting, regular maintenance, and Police patrols contribute to the safety of the park. In specific circumstances, CCTV may be used for events and asset protection.
To enhance your visit, a centrally located public toilet block has been constructed within the park, so you don't have to leave to use the facilities. Additional toilets can also be added for events, ensuring convenience for all visitors.
Wyndham City Council invites businesses, clubs, and groups to host free activities in the park for the public to enjoy and participate in. If you're interested in organizing an activity at Wyndham Park, please fill in the short survey to register your interest.
Lastly, we acknowledge and respect the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first Peoples of Australia. We pay tribute to the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. Their connection to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills, and red clay of this Country is deeply valued. We honor their Ancestors and Elders who have and will continue to care for Country and community today and for future generations.
Come and experience the beauty, excitement, and community spirit at Wyndham Park Play Space. We look forward to welcoming you!

"Wyndham Park Play Space gets pretty busy. Very much so on weekends, school holidays and any time there's good weather, like any park area I suppose. This is one of the play areas for kids in the park. There is a double flying fox, a climbing tower, seating, tables and a decent selection of play equipment for all ages."
