About the Business
Welcome to The Positive Health Project, located at 31 Lasso Road, Gregory Hills, Australia. We are a specialized establishment offering health services with a focus on physiotherapy for individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer. Our goal is to enhance your health during and after cancer treatment while addressing and preventing any side effects.
At The Positive Health Project, we provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for lymphoedema, a condition that can occur after cancer treatment. Our services include manual lymphatic drainage massage, compression garments, low level laser therapy, and exercise prescription. We aim to help prevent, monitor, and treat lymphoedema effectively.
We also offer specialized scar management techniques to promote healing and the formation of healthy scar tissue. Our treatments include scar massage, the use of silicone products, a specially formulated scar oil, and low level laser therapy. We understand the importance of proper management of swelling, scarring, and pain after any operation, and our multiple treatment techniques can optimize your recovery, whether it's from cosmetic procedures or joint replacements.
For women recovering from breast cancer, we have a specialized reformer Pilates class in partnership with Semprose Pilates at Gregory Hills. These personalized classes aim to strengthen your recovery in a safe environment.
Our Next Steps Program is designed to help rebuild strength, flexibility, and stamina through a combination of Pilates, yoga, and cardiovascular exercises. The program is tailored to your specific needs and abilities, making it suitable for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
In addition to our health services, we offer an alternative to traditional breast prostheses. Our lightweight, breathable, and affordable breast forms are made from 100% medical grade silicone. They come in two different styles, Shape and Curve, to suit your preferences. The design of our boost breast forms allows them to be worn in a mastectomy pocketed bra or directly against the skin. They are even suitable for swimming.
We are also proud to introduce The Pink Pride, Macarthur's Breast Cancer Support Group. This group aims to provide support and connection for local women after a breast cancer diagnosis. Our vision is to make cancer rehabilitation a standard part of cancer care, ensuring that every cancer survivor has access to the support, compassion, and services they deserve.
Join us at Suite 1212B, Level 1, 31 Lasso Road, Gregory Hills, NSW, and let us support you on your journey to positive health and wellbeing.

Reviews
"The Positive Health Project has a specialised set of services which I have had the privilege of using during my cancer treatment. Hope has provided therapy, support and guidance along my whole journey from the very beginning, which has helped me tremendously. The Pilates Reformer class has vastly improved my quality of life by helping me recover from surgery, becoming physically and mentally stronger and dealing with the many side effects of treatment. Hope is an extraordinary human being and truly cares for her patients. She is constantly looking to do more to support her patients. I honestly don't know how she has the time, but she is so dedicated to what she does. She gives us all HOPE. I don't know what I would do without her and The Positive Health Project. I am forever grateful."

"I have been a patient of Hope for over a year now, and I can definitely see the progress that I have made under her care. She is very knowledgeable in women's health specifically oncology. I also attend clinical pilates classes run by Hope, which I'm feeling much better. Hope is always on the lookout for new and updated information she goes out of her way to ensure that all her patients are comfortable and well taken care of. She is one of the most professional and helpful physiotherapists I have ever worked with, and nothing is ever too much trouble for her. would highly recommend Hope to anyone seeking a great physiotherapist."
