"I sadly found this store to be too expensive. I visited 3 op shops today and this Vinnie’s was by far the highest priced across the board. I looked at the price of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo book across the 3 stores I visited: Hills community shop - 50 cents Salvoes Dural - $2 Here…. $4. A lot of the books here were $4 and I think this is an incredibly high price point for second hand generic books. I really recommend reducing the price of the books if you want to see them move off the shelves."
"I have been a constant supporter of Vinnies for the last 20 years. This has been purchasing items for many years now. I started going to Vinnies at Dural near the main shopping Centre at Dural. There is a manager there that seemed to be nice in the beginning. On this occasion I had items to purchase and I went up to the front counter yet again to buy and as a way that I support a charity. On this occasion I was immediately ripped to shreds for buying an item that I bought the week before. This 20 year old something started to tell me off the minute that I went to say hello to the ladies at the front counter she ripped into me very aggressively accusing me of buying an item that was not for sale. The week before I had bought this item and asked the ladies if it was for sale. They said to my face, “Yes, this item is for sale you can buy it” Wow, 20 year old managers really don’t know how to talk to a person. This 20 year old aggressive verbally abusing woman didn’t even check that it was actually me who was in this store. As soon as she could see me she immediately started to aggressively verbally abuse me. I had to call Vinnies head office to complain it was that bad. I am never going to this store again. It is a shame that she works there, there were very nice ladies that I would have a chat to while I was there. The way this angry little girl blasted me that day was very insulting, and very embarrassing as other shoppers were there. I was very polite, and asked if she needed this item back. I knew that it was important and silly to cause a scene. Obviously this angry little girl that manages this store is not in the right position. I can’t believe they have her working in a Catholic/ Christian charity these people believe in forgiveness and are usually grateful for any charity or donation given to them. Wouldn’t it work in their favour to actually be polite and nice or civil to customers???? They have lost me as a customer I’m NEVER going back to this store, I don’t want to be verbally abused again by her!!!!! When I called head office they agreed that none of this was my fault at all. I hope that she is asked to leave there is something seriously wrong with her!!!!!! She needs to learn a very hard lesson here, Don’t talk to people in an aggressive manner!!!!!!!"
"Very amazing finds. Read good clothing and accessories. Not a very large men's section so not worth it if you're a man looking for things. I would give this place 5 stars, but unfortunately they have one of those staff members. Her name is Rosanna. God help you if she's in when you're shopping. She acts very above you. Waaaaaaay to righteous. She's one of those people who take her job waaaaaay too seriously. Everytime I've got in there I've had an issue sitj her and only her. I won't dare detail it because I don't want her to confront me. But seriously if you're shopping and see her name tag, just walk out. I think I will complain."
"One of the best op shops in Sydney. It's small, clean and tidy. Well laid out. Great selection of goods. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend."
"It seems more like a store for gift repurposing that a place for life's necessities. I go in once a week in the hope there is something I could buy, but there is never anything for me. Everything seems modern or giftware. I'd rather go to Victoria's Basement or Myer in reality to buy that kind of thing."
