Our dedicated team consists of experienced GPs, nurses, a medical practice assistant, a consultant pharmacist, a dietitian, a psychologist, and a reception team, all working together to provide you with the best possible care and support.

We are pleased to announce that flu vaccinations for the 2023 winter season are now available. Government-funded vaccines are accessible for patients aged 6 months to 5 years, individuals aged 65 years and over, and patients with chronic health conditions, as outlined on the NSW health website.

Starting from February 6th, 2023, there will be an out-of-pocket fee for some patients during routine consultations. However, we will continue to bulk bill children under 16 years of age and patients aged 70 years and above, in order to minimize the impact of this change.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are committed to keeping our patients protected. A 2023 COVID-19 booster vaccination will be available from February 20th, 2023, as recommended by ATAGI. This booster dose is recommended for adults aged 65 years and over, as well as adults aged 18-64 years with specific medical conditions.

We are thrilled to welcome Matthew Roumanus, a highly skilled podiatrist, to our practice. Matthew has experience in treating patients of all ages and can assist with various foot and leg conditions, including pain, corns, calluses, and toenail problems.

At Hills Family General Practice, we are dedicated to providing quality care and continuously improving our services. We have implemented various measures for quality improvement, and you can find a summary of these efforts on our webpage. We believe that "run charts" are the best way to display change over time and identify areas for improvement.

The well-being of our young patients is of utmost importance to us. We take pride in caring for babies and young families, with eight doctors holding a Diploma of Child Health and four nurses who have completed a post-graduate immunization course.

In addition to our comprehensive general practice services, we also offer shared antenatal care with Westmead & Blacktown Public Hospitals, in-house podiatry with Matthew Roumanus, and psychologist support through our partners at Project Wellbeing. We provide childhood, adult, and travel vaccinations, skin checks, minor surgeries, clinical pharmacist in-house medication reviews and education, and diabetes education with our skilled nurses.
