"I will provide my feedback as openly and as candidly as possible hoping that it will assist anyone who is considering this firm for all of your accounting needs. I am the type of person who likes to do everything on your own and am a strong believer that sometimes you need to learn to run before you can walk. Unfortunately the reality is that what you know, you can utilise, and what you don't know, you just don't know. This is where Linda and her team comes in to the picture. Not only is she an expert in her field, but also she provides assistance in a manner that can be as much or as little as you need it to be. Take into consideration that I have a personality which has a tendency to be super analytical, the flip side of that is in the past I've had many dealings where after having a chat with a supposedly subject matter expert, after digging a little bit deeper I almost always come to the conclusion that most experts are just all talk and mostly smoke and mirrors. An illusionist Linda is not. She was able to provide relevant professional advice on subject matters the I consider out of the norm (e.g. will and estate matters, enduring power of attorney and it's impacts to gifting, capital gains and the ramifications of the estate being considered a deprived asset after the passing of a partner, guidelines around claiming expenses and declaring incoming from peer to peer car sharing as well as short term vacation rentals, the ins and outs of what can and can't be done when renting a property from a family member 'at arms length', subleasing the rented property at arm's length on Airbnb, purchasing of a commercial property and utilising ones superannuation to form part of the deposit, etc.) . In additional to offering the bucket loads of wisdom which keeps spilling out of her mouth, she proactively & consistently highlights other ways for me to make the most of my situation. Long story short, she is my pathway to success. I really couldn't have gotten to where I am today without having her and feel so lucky that she is part of my team. if you are still umming and ahhing about if you should call her; stop. Just call her. I promise you she will be very impressive in both her skill and her behaviour. Also she reminds me of my mum. But I digress...."
