"Would not recommend! The tax return agent made an error on my tax return and monies were paid into someone else’s account. Once I realised the mistake and contacted them, they denied all responsibility and liability. The manager from head office called me and was dismissive and rude blaming me for not double checking and signing the form. This is a fair point, however being professional tax return agents the mistake should not have occurred in the first place. They need better quality control!"

"DO NOT go for tax returns! Better off doing your tax yourself and save yourself the $300. Offered no advice or insight to get a better return - seemed to lack any advanced knowledge of tax returns. I feel ripped off and forced to submit a return."

"The following statements are all facts and no personal feelings involved. I found them online and booked an appointment to get me and my husband’s tax returned. The initial appointment on July 2nd was great, we went through everything and was just waiting for the private insurance data kicking in so we can finalize the return. I was told verbally what the return amount is going to be. I remember that amount so clearly bc we have already made plans with it. Plus, I asked Irina if I should pay for the return right now or later and she said we can pay now or pay later, and she will keep us updated. On august 9th, I still didn’t hear anything from them so I called. A guy picked up said he doesn’t know what happened and why they hasn’t update me for a month. I asked him to confirm the tax return amount for me again and send me the file to sign. I paid the service fee and got the files. When we were reviewing the files, there were a couple of personal information’s incorrect, and my tax return amount was short by 600 dollars. I made another phone appointment with Irina trying to find out where’s the 600 dollar difference coming from, also correct a couple of mistakes on my husband’s file. On the call, ***I was basically accused of lying, wrong, and unreasonable. *** it was such a frustrating call because she kept shutting me down and interrupting me, and insisting she has done everything right and there were a lot of “I don’t know”. She doesn’t remember what she said a month ago and doesn’t have a crystal ball, which is fair, but she also said she doesn’t have files saved from our initial appointment and don’t know where the initial estimates number is coming from, and that showed me how chaotic their internal system and how bad the management is. That alarms me A LOT especially everything about tax is detail. My tax was already lodged because somehow I signed for the lodgment, which was stupid of me, but my husband hasn’t signed his thank god. It’s impossible for us to trust them anymore and need to get my husband’s tax processed somewhere else all over again. I asked for a refund for my husband’s service and still waiting for their response. I’ll leave the judgement to you if you want to do your tax return with them. All their 5 star reviews were from 2 years ago and I was a fool to trust that."

"They charge 10$ per Dividend entry. Meaning if I get paid 1$ of Dividend HR Block charges 10$. Even after I explained it's a 5 minute job because I have a detailed Tax Report they still wanted to charge 10$ per dividend entry. Completely RIDICULOUS!"
