"Evies’ staff were absolutely amazing, but they overbooked and meant that our hens’ party had to sit on 7 different tables; as there were 4 different hens parties happening at the same time. Extremely disappointing as we only got 1-2 drinks per person over a 2 hour period with no food for half of the party. Had to pay as we were in line for over 30 mins. Wouldn’t recommend, despite the staff being absolutely attentive and fantastic."

"Had a great time at Drag bingo with Skyla! The mimosas were on point, chicken waffles were delicious and the service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back. Also they have a Sega Mega drive to play which is awesome"

"Myself and a girlfriend booked this venue for bottomless brunch at 79$ a person only to find that the drinks where in tiny cups, which they didn't even fill to the top, If you wanted another drink you had to return the same cup to the bar for them to refill. We payed an extra 12$ for a bloody Mary before we started and they wouldn't even fill my tiny cup to the top when I asked. Meanwhile the resident dragqueen was getting a free refill in a TALL glass right next to us. Unfriendly older bar staff with attitude, watered down drinks, bad service and tasteless food. Only thing This place is good for is drag bingo and taking cute selfies. Do not recommend."

"My partner Charlie and I had our surprise wedding at Evie's. The venue and the staff were just so wonderful and made it the best day ever. They were super easy to deal with, the food was great and made all our disco surprise wedding dreams come true! Highly recommend Evie's."

"Heaps of great vegan options here. My girlfriend loves that their vegan burger is not the usual "veggie patty" or grilled mushroom option. They make a massive effort with service every time we come. The onion rings are delicious, as are the cornbread Madeleines. My fried chicken burger was lovely, too—a really great quality whole fried chicken fillet. I've had the chicken and waffles before, and they are a bit awkward to eat in the waffle bowl format, and I'm not a big fan of peanut butter, so the PB caramel sauce was not my kind of thing. Glad I tried it though! Their homemade sodas are great: I love that they have cream soda, gives it that real dinner vibe. Speaking of which, the music is so great here! We have been back a few times and really enjoy it. Would definitely recommend to friends to come here."
