About the Business
Welcome to Gippsland Gate Radio and Electronics Club, located in Cranbourne, City of Casey, Victoria, Australia. We are a dynamic group of amateur radio operators (Hams) and electronics enthusiasts who are passionate about all aspects of Radio Communications, Telecommunications, Computers, and Electronics.
Our club meetings are held on the third Friday of every month at 8pm. You can find us at the Guide Hall behind the Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre on Grant Street. We extend a warm welcome to visitors who are interested in learning more about our hobbies.

We encourage you to explore these resources to enhance your knowledge and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
Our club station, VK3BJA, is situated behind the Guide Hall on Grant Street in Cranbourne. We also host Prac nights on the first Friday of each month and General Meetings on the third Friday, both held in the Guide Hall. Additionally, we have a morning coffee group on VK3RGW at 10 am most mornings.
For those interested in specific frequencies and repeaters, our club operates the VK3RDD 6Mtr Rptr on 52.575 MHz (in) and 53.575 MHz (out), as well as the VK3RGW 70cm Rptr on 431.425 MHz (in) and 438.425 MHz (out) with a tone of 91.5Hz. We also have the VK3RWD 70cm Rptr on 431.575 MHz (in) and 438.575 MHz (out) at Mt Worth.
In addition to our radio operations, we have beacons operating on VK3RGW on 1296.532 MHz and 2403.532 MHz at Frankston. Our club call frequencies are HF 28.325 MHz USB and VHF 145.450 MHz FM.

Membership fees for GGREC are as follows: Full Member - $50.00, Pensioner Member - $40.00, Junior Member - $25.00, and Extra Family Member - $20.00. New member applications should be submitted to the committee using the membership application form, and payment should only be made when advised by the Treasurer, as we charge pro rata fees.
