About the Business
Welcome to AP Performers, located at 36A Box Road, Taren Point, Australia. Since 2002, we have been dedicated to providing a vibrant and nurturing environment for dancers of all ages and abilities.
Led by the dynamic mother-daughter duo, Alecia and Sandra Picken, AP Performers is a family business fueled by our deep love and passion for dance. We believe in creating a home away from home for our students, where they can truly be themselves and feel alive.
At AP Performers, we offer a wide range of classes for students aged 2 and above. Whether you are dancing for fun or pursuing a more serious approach, our goal is to bring out the very best in each and every student. We understand the importance of individuality and strive to help our dancers discover their hidden talents.
Our students are encouraged to explore all genres of dance, allowing them to become versatile and well-rounded performers. We want our students to stand out and be prepared for any opportunities that the dance world may bring their way.
With 20 successful years under our belt, AP Performers has achieved numerous milestones and accolades. Our ballet exams and competition teams consistently achieve fantastic results, and our performance teams shine at eisteddfods across Sydney. Many of our students have won trips overseas to represent Australia in dance, secured roles in musicals and stage shows, and even danced for prestigious charity events.
We take pride in the success stories of our alumni, some of whom have been featured in film clips, television shows, and have become leading professionals in the dance industry, including Paris Cavanagh, Stephen Tannos, and Jessica Hesketh. In fact, one of our current students was crowned Miss World Dance in New York City, a remarkable achievement.
