Welcome to EK Ballroom, located at 71B Wollongong Road in Arncliffe, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we offer a range of services including private lessons, group classes, and wedding dance lessons.

Our founder, Egor, began his dancing journey at the young age of 4. He started with ballroom and gymnastic classes for children, and his passion for competitive ballroom dance grew naturally. Despite being involved in various other sports, Egor's love for dance prevailed.

After moving to Australia in 2010, Egor continued his dancing career and furthered his expertise by obtaining a degree in dance from Wesley Institute. This tertiary education provider in Sydney offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in creative and performing arts, as well as education.

One of Egor's proudest moments as a professional dancer was representing Australia in the WDC World Championship in Russia, with his family cheering him on.

At EK Ballroom, we cater to individuals and couples seeking personal attention and accelerated learning. Whether you're a beginner or have some dance experience, we will make you feel at ease and help you get started on your dance journey.

When attending our classes, we recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move freely, preferably soft leather shoes. Our classes cover both Standard dances, including Waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Vienesse Waltz, and Quickstep, as well as Latin dances such as Samba, Rumba, ChaCha, Paso Doble, and Jive.

Rest assured, our instructors hold a current Working with Children Certificate, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Our studio is also available for rental at competitive rates. Equipped with a well-kept parquetry floor, mirrors, air conditioning, and excellent male/female amenities, the studio offers lots of natural light with large windows overlooking a tree-lined park and playing field next door. Additionally, we are conveniently located near cafes, with free street parking and within walking distance from the train station.
