"I thought it was strange only receiving $100 for my tax last year, when I work full-time. I received much more this year from another taxation office & every year before last year. I do believe it's a little dodge now. Wish I never went to h&r block last year, total regret."

"After doing my last 2 year tax returns with H&R block I will not be coming back. Not being able to finalize an individual tax return within the appointment time has never happened to me. All of a sudden I was given a piece of paper with a list of things to email and pushed out the door just before 5pm. To make the matter worse my 4pm appointment didn't start until 4:15pm as she was running late with the man before me. I would have been able to produce the details on the piece of paper within 5 minutes. That night I did as requested and emailed required details. As I had not heard anything the next day I called and spoke with the lady and she advised that she would not be able to get to it until the next business day. I called the next day at 2pm and was advised that the lady working on my return was not in the office yet. On the 3rd day of still not hearing anything I called at 10am and the lady was again not in the office. I advised them not to bother about processing my return and I will go elsewhere."

"Had my tax done for the first time by H&R Block two and half weeks ago. I called them because I realised my ato account said I hadn’t lodged a claim. They said there was a system error as they’d just updated and that they would fix it right away. It’s been 3 days and no update. They never answer calls or call back after messages have been left to do so. Very disappointed after having such a nice staff member do my tax. I will be going in to the pakenham branch in person to complain and get an update."

"If you want your tax return a month later, go through this mob. Ive called numerous times and asked for an update on my return they dont give you anything not even a call back as requested. Definitely will not be going back. Ill do my tax online because youll get a better response from a computer then a actual person. *edit* its been 3 weeks. I just jumped onto the ato app to see if my return was lodged. It only got lodged 4 days ago. And is saying it will take up to 2 more weeks. Great job h&r block. waste of time"
