Reviews of Cook Park
"You can spend few hours here, good place for a walk or jogging on the walking track. Also have beach which you can take off your shoes and walk on it, have few bench to sit to rest as well."
"The playground up by the road is ok, the sand at nearby beach area had 5-6 rats we saw!! In the bushes and weren’t afraid to come out. Bit put off while eating lunch .. we left pretty quick. Toilets were not that nice either :( overall not worth it"
"Wonderful park, pine park playgrounds close by for the kids, calm beach accessible good for a swim, park gym equipment for training, wide walkways for jogging, cycling, walking. Picnic shelters with park BBQ ,lots of seating area and green open spaces. Upgraded parking areas with night lighting. Always busy in the weekends."
"Beautiful place for morning or day walk, family day out, barbecue or exercise. Ample of parking. Good toilet facilities and shed. Also awesome place for surfing."
"Lovely quiet beaches in the week days to just to seat, relax, have a swim or just enjoy the breeze ,and watch the sunset or planes. So close and easy to get to. The beaches are not patrolled so exercise caution when swimming, relatively calm safe beaches with not much waves. Kite surfing beach close by ,always good to watch the Kite surfers doing their stuff on windy days. Can be hard to find parking on hot summer weekends ,so visit early in the day or come in the late afternoon when beach goers are leaving. Even though parking maybe full ,the beach is hardly ever crowded like say Bondi."
