"I do not recommend seeing Nanthini. She seemed to have no idea what she was doing and frequently sought assistance from "the manager". I booked a 1 hour session but was asked to leave after 35 minutes because she had other customers. I was told I'd hear back from her the following Thursday, but the call never came. Nanthini had no idea what to do with crypto gains and also couldn't understand what she was looking at when reviewing the standard RSU/vesting share statements provided by a well established broker. I eventually got to speak with "the manager (sorry, didn't catch your name), who was lovely and knowledgeable. I'd go back if I could deal with her, but will never deal with Nanthini again. If you have a tax return which requires stock or crypto declarations, I'd request someone other than Nanthini."

"If I could give less than one star.. I would. Angelica was the rudest accountant, which is such a shame, as I have always had such a wonderful experience here. My submission was not even filed... I find out she did not even bother to process it nearly a year later. The entire experience with her during the session made me uncomfortable due to her condescending and abrupt personality. Every question I asked, I was made to feel like a child. I will not be returning this financial year, nor do I recommend anyone see her."

"My husband & I thought we would try H&R Block after feeling as though we weren’t getting the best returns from our previous tax man (who we had been seeing for 4 years). Well what a mistake that was!!! I’m still in disbelief with our whole experience. First of all our appointment took THREE hours!!! We had a trainee who made so many mistakes which caused delays. I understand people need to learn but that’s just ridiculous! As new clients you’d think they’d want us to return! What made matters worse was the fact we had our 4 & 5 year old with us & I’m heavily pregnant! Within the 3 hours we were given 3 different return totals?? All wrong of course! At one point, another senior accountant came in to the office & said to my husband & I ‘I hope she hasn’t been too painful’ while the trainee was photocopying stuff. Which I thought was horrible! I would’ve appreciated being told at the beginning that we were dealing with someone that had little experience. Finally after our appointment, the day was already over & so we went out for dinner, to only get another call from H&R Block saying they made more mistakes & they can’t process our returns because certain documents weren’t signed!!!! So I had to go home print all the docs they emailed me & return the next day to hand them in! It’s been nearly 3 weeks now & have not received our returns as of yet. Continued checking the status online & it said our returns were lodged on Friday the 20th. OUR APPOINTMENT WAS ON THE 9th!!!! Save yourself time & headaches & go elsewhere!"
