Welcome to Ignite Dance Company, a steadily growing dance studio located in Padstow, Sydney. At Ignite Dance Co., we are dedicated to nurturing talented dancers who share a passion and love for performance.
From preschool to professional level, our students receive first-class training in a variety of dance styles including RAD classical ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, acrobatics, and musical theatre. We aim to not only provide high-quality dance training but also to foster the development of young artists who are open-minded, creative, and confident.
Our classes are tailored to suit each age group and what they can gain from dance. Our preschool classes focus on expanding imaginations and basic coordination, while our senior students experience everything dance has to offer, including exposure to a wide range of styles, improvisation skills, competitions, auditions, and more. Ignite is a place where students come as tiny dancers and leave as confident young adults. In fact, nearly 100% of our current senior students have been training with us for the majority of their childhood. The relationships between our students and teachers are deeply invested and rich, making our studio so much more than just a place for dance instruction. "I've just taken my daughter for 2 trial sessions (ballerina and jazz) and found it to be an overwhelmingly positive experience. From the initial query and through all communicating, the responses have been prompt, warm and professional. Onto the trial class itself, the instructor was fantastic at engaging the students, using easy to relate examples for dance moves and actively encouraging and praising participation - without putting any pressure on my initially shy daughter. All the kids present really seemed to enjoy the class and had a great relationship with the teacher. Initial impression is that this is one of those rare gems."
"My daughter came to Ignite Dance Co. this year after moving to a nearby suburb in the last few years because we were looking for a small, local studio that she could continue to dance at but fit in amongst her other commitments. She was welcomed from the get go. Immediately she loved the vibe and mood of the studio. We were pleasantly suprised to find a place she could have fun at and not compromise the skills she previously had learnt. Small classes and an energetic atmosphere. Originally she was only doing preteen classes but joined the troupe team for hip hop and has loved being a part of that experience. The young women who run the studio are family orientated, supportive and a positive influence on my young daughter. Family Fun days, organised outings etc, everyone is made to feel like they belong.
