"Worst experience ever and I’ll never be going to H&R Block South Morang ever again - do not see Faris - terrible and unprofessional. He demanded to see my drivers licence, before he did my return he said “be prepared to get a call as you might get audited”, he did not want to see any of my receipts and he did not print my return out and I fear did not claim my 2022 return. He also made comments because I was early which was odd! After 23 years of visiting H&R block and 23 years of problems, I rang the contact centre to see if my return had been submitted. When Faris rang me he wanted to know why I was calling then said “glad you did there are questions around your return” He demanded I get a letter from the HR department at work regarding my mobile usage, Eve thought what % I claimed this year I claimed last year. He wanted me to ring Optus and get bills even though they do not issue bills and when I sent screenshots of the app he said not acceptable. Optus gave me an invoice for the monthly amount and he was insinuating I lied - I claimed x amount this year when it should have been more! He also emailed me saying my return had been lodged but called me another name. He was not reading my parking correctly and pulling out wrong figures and when I highlighted it in bold he still got it wrong. He is incompetent and embarrassing to the tax profession. He didn’t check my previous return to see o have 2 mobiles, clearly did not believe me and made me feel like I was being interrogated like a naughty schoolgirl. He also questioned my tolls and when I provided evidence he said I have him wrong figures yet he couldn’t get the figure right for parking. Rang HR block still waiting on district manager to call. Terrible service, no customer first it’s churn and burn to get the fee from refund!"

"Horrible service. More expensive. Unprofessional. Met with Faris @ South Morang H&R, I have just wasted my time and money. Went through the whole Tax Return process and I wanted to think about the end result (because going through H&R, I would have received a much less Tax Return than if I were to do it myself online through MyGov for free!!), I questioned why such a large difference in price (I thought seeing and paying for a tax agent, you’d at least get more back), Faris snatched the forms from me and ripped them up infront of me. He got frustrated and told me he doesn’t care, and for me to go elsewhere because I had some questions. Faris was very rude, condescending and very unprofessional. Never again going back. Horrible experience!"

"After having an appointment I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours. Once I was finally seen by an accountant I had a very average experience with them doing my tax. 2 weeks later and I receive a call saying they still haven’t processed my tax return and that I would need to come and sign more documents and have to wait a even longer. After talking to another accountant I’m never racking my business here again"
