Maronite College of the Holy Family

Welcome to the Maronite College of the Holy Family, a distinguished educational institution located in Harris Park, Alice Street, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our school is committed to providing a holistic education within the Maronite Tradition.

Our Primary Department is led by a dedicated team of staff, including the College Principal, Deputy Principal, Assistant Principal, Head of Primary, Stage Coordinators, Leaders of Learning, and a Learning Intervention Coordinator. With four classes in each grade from Kindergarten to Year 6, our Primary Department caters to a wide range of students' needs.

In the Secondary Department, our Secondary Leadership Team oversees the academic and pastoral aspects of our school. Comprising the Principal, Deputy Principal, Assistant Principal, Head of Secondary, Director of Pastoral Care, and Director of Curriculum, this team ensures a well-rounded education for our students. We believe in providing academic excellence and nurturing the Maronite faith.

At Maronite College of the Holy Family, we value the partnership between parents and the school. We recognize the importance of parental involvement in their children's education and encourage open communication. Parents interested in enrolling their children are invited to make an appointment with the College Executive Principal.

As we enter 2023, we are excited to announce that Maronite College of the Holy Family and St Maroun's College will be led by the same Executive Principal. Established by the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family around 50 years ago, both schools will now have the opportunity to develop and grow together, benefiting from each other's knowledge and resources.

Our Primary Learning Centre serves as a hub for teaching and learning, providing access to a wide variety of media. The Library not only functions as a resource center but also stimulates learning and fosters a sense of discovery, knowledge, and imagination. We encourage our students to take responsibility for their learning and decision-making.

The mission of Maronite College of the Holy Family is to deepen the faith, strengthen hope, extend love and friendship, and develop respect for all people through good manners, respect for authority, and dedication to work. We aim to create a College community where the Gospel values of faith, justice, and love are reflected in all aspects of daily life.

The history of our institution dates back to its foundation as Our Lady of Lebanon College. Over the years, the school has grown and evolved, with dedicated educators guiding the students towards academic and personal success. We take inspiration from Patriarch Elias Howayek, who believed in the transformative power of education for young women, shaping the values of society.

Led by our Executive Team, which includes the Executive Principal, Head of College, Head of Mission, Head of Wellbeing, Head of Curriculum, Head of Teaching and Learning, Head of Business Services, and Head of Risk and Compliance, Maronite College of the Holy Family is committed to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for our students.

Our school is deeply rooted in the Maronite faith, with Saint Maroun considered the Founder of the Maronites. We also hold reverence for other beloved saints such as Saints Charbel, Hardini, and Rafqa, as well as earlier saints and recent religious figures.
