The Hebrew University is a renowned multidisciplinary institution of higher learning and research, attracting thousands of young Israelis who receive a university education with a strong emphasis on excellence. Our institution is also a hub for advanced post-graduate study and research, with special programs that entice a large number of overseas students to pursue degrees or earn credits for transfer.
Our university serves a three-fold function: to train the scientific, educational, and professional manpower of the State of Israel; to preserve and expand the Jewish cultural, spiritual, and intellectual heritage; and to extend the frontiers of knowledge for the betterment of humanity.
