"Lisa held an excellent range of stock and took time and care with the fitting, but was very expensive and talked me into buying a pair of shoes that were unbearably painful to wear, let alone dance in. Maybe her approach works for hardcore dancers, but I cannot concentrate on dancing when in that much pain, and she was very dismissive of that limitation. She agreed to swap the shoes (which admittedly I did not try to wear in as they were so painful to even stand in) for a pair that would fit a toe pad. These were wearable in the short term but gave me such bad blisters that I had open wounds after 15 minutes. I tried to persevere but ended up going back to my old shoes. Lisa came very highly recommended but her approach didn't work for me at all."
