Welcome to Drama Scene, an institution founded in Australia by Stephanie Waites in 2003. Located in Petersham on Elswick Street, Drama Scene is a renowned establishment and point of interest in the country. With a strong emphasis on providing exceptional drama education, Drama Scene offers a range of programs and workshops for children and young adults.

One of our exciting offerings is the Holiday Drama Scene Spring Workshop in 2023. This workshop provides a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the world of drama during their school breaks. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Friday After School Drama Club at Annandale North Public School in Term 4. In an effort to cater to the diverse needs of our students, Drama Scene now also offers a Tuesday Lunch Time Drama Club at Paddington Public School. At Drama Scene, the safety and well-being of our students is of utmost importance. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we ensure that all our staff members are fully vaccinated and adhere to strict Covid Safe precautions at each of our locations.

If you are interested in enrolling your child for our Term-Time Drama Scene program, we have onsite groups across Sydney as well as live online classes available for students across Australia. We also offer specialized programs such as HSC mentoring for Year 11 and Year 12 students. With experienced HSC Drama Teachers and Exam Markers, we provide face-to-face and live online one-to-one coaching to help students excel in their drama studies. If you or your child are interested in individual coaching with an industry professional, we offer face-to-face and live online one-to-one sessions. Our acting and audition coaching program is designed to enhance skills and prepare students for auditions and performances.

Drama Scene is proud to be associated with DSP Inc., a registered non-profit organization. We encourage aspiring performers to register for auditions to be a part of our performing casts. Additionally, we offer drama classes for children with disabilities and invite interested individuals to join our wait-list.

Our mission at Drama Scene is to inspire and enable children and young adults to create theatre that can be an agent for change. We believe in bridging the gap between the mind and the creative and performing arts, encompassing drama as performance, drama in education, drama as therapy, and drama for people with special needs.
