"Horrible experience. I purchased an Asus laptop for my little sister. The laptop was hot to touch from day 1. Around 14 days after purchase the laptop overheated and the keys melted while my sister was using it. My sisters fingers became swollen and blistered. I took the laptop back to Harvey Norman and requested a refund on the spot but the manager, rose, refused stating that the laptop would need to be assessed by Asus first. Several days later and still no refund. What a joke"

"We ordered something online via Click and Collect a few months ago and the girl who first served us forgot components of our order so we had to go back and get them. When we got to the cashier the Asian lady with the attitude was rude but the second lot of staff were very pleasant and helpful. Decent selection of home goods and electronics on the floor."

"Purchased a bed from Harvey Norman in February and paid for the product to be delivered to us. When we set it up we realised that we were given the incorrect part. We got in touch with Harvey Norman to arrange for a replacement to ensure the correct part is provided. I followed up with the team countless times over email and phone and I was always the one that had to reach out for an update. There was never one provided by them to me. Harvey Norman did not take any responsibility blaming the manufacturer and when the part came in, I was not notified but again had to reach out for an update. They refused to have it delivered to our house and said we would have to pick it up from the warehouse which was 40 mins away or pay for delivery again. It is now May (3 months after the initial request). There is no responsibility for the direct customer by the customer service team. Happy to make the sale but not willing to deal with you after it happens."

"Very Bad Service and Disappointing Experience at Harvey Norman Orange Grove I purchased a brand new French door fridge that was a stock floor item. The store sold it to me without mentioning any technical issues, claiming that the previous buyer had only returned it because of the size. However, when the fridge was delivered, I discovered that it had a technical issue. Despite my efforts to have it replaced, the store manager and owner were unhelpful and only offered a refund. This was extremely frustrating, as it was clear that my time and plans had been inconvenienced. Additionally, I was charged extra for delivery by Harvey Norman and for the removal of boxes. However, the fridge was delivered unsecured without any boxes. The delivery man even asked for my help to carry the fridge from downstairs to my home. This was not my responsibility, and I found it very unprofessional. After a lot of follow-up and complaining, the store eventually offered a refund. However, they only offered it in person and refused to return the money to my bank card. This was another inconvenience, as it was clear that they did not have respect for my time. Overall, I had a very bad experience with Harvey Norman Orange Grove. I cannot trust them and would not recommend them to anyone. It is disappointing to see a store treat its customers in such a disrespectful manner."
