About Central Coast Research Institute (CCRI)
Welcome to the Central Coast Research Institute (CCRI), located in Gosford, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, the CCRI is dedicated to conducting translational research into the development and implementation of new models of integrated care.
Our primary goal is to support the adoption of integrated care in policy and practice, with the aim of bringing tangible benefits to the health and wellbeing of not only the Central Coast community but also beyond. Through our research, we aim to explore how the design and implementation of new models of integrated care can enhance the care experiences and outcomes of individuals and communities, while also improving the cost-effectiveness of healthcare systems.
At the CCRI, our priority research areas include healthy ageing, complex and chronic illness, mental health and wellbeing, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. By focusing on these key areas, we strive to address the pressing healthcare needs of our community and contribute to the overall improvement of healthcare systems.
To support the adoption of research into policy and practice, the CCRI offers a range of support services. These services include education and training opportunities, an integrated care evidence service, and support in the design, implementation, and evaluation of integrated care programs. By providing these resources, we aim to facilitate the integration of research findings into practical solutions that benefit our community.
We believe that collaboration is essential in achieving our goals. That's why the CCRI actively seeks to work with community members, health professionals, and research partners. We welcome active participation across our Advisory Groups and Communities of Practice, as we believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of our community.
As we carry out our research, it is important to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which the CCRI is situated. We recognize and pay our respects to the Darkinyung people, as well as the traditional owners of the lands on which we meet and conduct our research. We honor their Elders, both past and present, and respect their culture, heritage, and spirituality.
Thank you for visiting the Central Coast Research Institute. We are committed to making a positive difference in healthcare through our research, and we look forward to collaborating with you to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.
