MLC School Aquatic Centre

Welcome to the MLC School Aquatic Centre, located in Burwood, Australia. Our Aquatic Centre is not only an establishment but also a point of interest for all swimming enthusiasts. We understand the importance of safety, especially during these uncertain times, which is why we have implemented strict COVID-safe protocols.

Our program caters to students of all ages, starting from as young as six months old. We offer a comprehensive level program that begins with water familiarisation levels and progresses all the way to advanced squad programs. We also have Adult Learn to Swim classes available for those who are looking to improve their swimming skills.

For new children who are two and a half years or older, we conduct assessments to determine their appropriate swimming level. These assessments can be booked through our online portal or over the phone. Simply bring your child with their swimwear for their allocated booking time, and our knowledgeable Aquatic Centre staff will conduct the assessment. For current students, ongoing assessments are conducted every eight weeks to track their progress.

Once a student has been assessed and passed, they can progress to the next level in our program. However, if there has been a lapse of enrolment for longer than three months, a swim reassessment is required before re-enrolment.

To access class information, including time, level, and lane location, current customers can log in to the UDIO Customer Portal. Through this portal, customers can also make changes to their lesson day and time, enrol in new classes, and access billing account information. We have provided how-to videos and a FAQ page on the portal to assist customers. If you have any further questions, our Aquatic Centre customer service team is available via phone or email.

If you are new to our program and interested in enrolling, you can sign up through the provided link. Follow the instructions to create profiles for each individual who wants to enrol, and then book into an assessment. This assessment will help us determine the appropriate level for new students. If you wish to cancel your learn to swim program, please complete the cancellation form at least two days prior to the start of a new month. This allows us to cancel your booking before the direct debit runs for the following month, avoiding any unnecessary charges.

Our Learn to Swim programs cater to all levels and ages, from infants to adults. Our Aquababies and Turtles programs focus on building water confidence and basic swimming skills. As children progress through the Jellyfish, Starfish, and Octopus programs, they continue to develop their water confidence, learn basic water safety, and begin to develop basic swimming strokes. The Seahorse, Seals, and Dolphins programs focus on correct stroke technique, endurance, and stamina building. For students looking for further stroke improvement and performance, we offer the Marlins, Sharks, and Novice Squad programs. Additionally, we have classes specifically designed for older children and adults who want to learn how to swim or master a stroke.

In addition to our Learn to Swim programs, we also offer fitness programs for MLC School students and the wider community. We are proud to provide swim programs for external schools as well.

For MLC School students and squad swimmers, we invite you to join the MLC School Marlins Swimming Team. This team is affiliated with NSW Swimming and competes in external competitions.
