At Peakhurst Swim School, our programs are designed to instill confidence and progressive skills in our students. - Tuesday: 9AM – 11AM // 3PM – 5:30PM

- Wednesday: 9AM – 11AM // 3PM – 5:30PM

- Thursday: 9AM – 11AM // 3PM – 5:30PM

- Friday: 9AM – 12PM

- Saturday: 8AM – 12PM

Please note that due to COVID restrictions, we are no longer able to provide communal goggles and caps. If you forget these items, they can be purchased from the pool deck or you may miss out on the lesson.

The safety and well-being of our students and their families are of utmost importance to us. We have implemented several measures to ensure a clean and secure environment. These include increased cleaning protocols, small class sizes, and equipment that is not shared and thoroughly cleaned between each class. Additionally, all our staff members have completed COVID-19 specific infection control training.

In compliance with current restrictions, our pool can accommodate up to 14 people at a time, including parents, babies, children, and staff. The entire premises, including the pool, office, and change rooms, can have a maximum of 82 people present. We kindly ask patrons to promptly leave after their lesson to help us adhere to these guidelines.

Our infant program is divided into three stages and aims to help infants feel comfortable and build confidence in the water. Each lesson begins with conditioning the children to accept the water, progressing to teaching skills such as breath control and submersions. As babies become more mobile, they are introduced to basic kicking and reaching skills. These classes are designed to be fun and engaging, providing valuable one-on-one bonding time with your little one.

For older children, we offer three levels of instruction starting from beginner through to stroke development. We encourage children to participate in the class on their own, without a parent present in the water. The focus of these classes is water safety and awareness, teaching skills such as submerging, breath control, independent swimming, back floating, and beginner strokes. In level 2, we aim to improve and build on the fundamentals of freestyle and backstroke, introducing side breathing while maintaining a streamlined position. Level 3 continues to develop and maintain good technique in freestyle and backstroke, while also introducing dolphin kick and basic breaststroke kick.

For advanced students, we offer Level 4, which focuses on advanced stroke technique, the introduction of bilateral breathing, and further development of butterfly and breaststroke. These classes have a maximum of 5 students to ensure personalized attention and instruction.
