Speedo Swim School

Welcome to Speedo Swim School, located at Bondi Beach on Campbell Parade. As an established institution, we have been supporting swimmers for over 85 years, and the Speedo Swim Centre Bondi Beach is the next exciting chapter in our history of driving innovative swimming techniques and superior performance.

Our highly trained group of swim instructors are dedicated to bringing out the best in our swim students, both in and out of the pool. We offer a range of programs to cater to different age groups and skill levels.

For our Bondibubs program, we recommend bringing a swimmer nappy, swimwear for both the carer and bub, and in winter, we suggest rashies for your little one. Additionally, two towels are required.

In our Learn to Swim program, we recommend bringing a cap and goggles, as well as swimwear and a towel.

The pool temperature at our facility is approximately 30 degrees, and it is warmer in winter to ensure a comfortable swimming experience.

Our student to teacher ratio is 7 students to 1 teacher for Bondibubs, and for Learn to Swim, it is 3:1 for levels 1-3 and 4:1 for level 4. For our squads, there are 6 swimmers per lane.

Children can start lessons without a parent in the pool from the age of 3 in our LTS program.

At Speedo Swim Centre, we offer excellent facilities including an indoor heated 25m swimming pool with ensuite bathrooms. We also provide two on deck showers for a quick rinse, three change tables, and bench seating surrounding the pool, which doubles as a changing area for bubs in the mornings.

To check-in for lessons, all swimmers are required to check-in at reception prior to their sessions.

We do not run lessons on public holidays, and there is no charge for those days.

Fees for our lessons are paid via direct debit on the first of each month, in advance. Bookings automatically roll on a month-to-month basis.

Our staff members hold Swim teacher qualifications either with Swim Australia or Austswim, as well as valid Working with Children's Checks and current CPR certifications.

If you're wondering when your child is ready to move up to the next level, our supervisors will mark off the skill checklist for their existing level and inform the parent/guardian. You can then check availability for the next level at reception or through our Parent Portal. We strive to accommodate you with the same day and time if possible.
