Welcome to Karningul School, located at Regents Park, Auburn Road, 1A, in Australia. Karningul School is a School for Specific Purposes, catering to students aged 10 - 13 (years 5-8). Our institution is recognized as a point of interest and establishment, offering specialized education for students with documented patterns of behavioral difficulties.
At Karningul School, we understand that every student is unique and may require additional support to overcome their challenges. Despite intensive interventions, some students continue to face difficulties, which is where our dedicated team steps in. Our experienced staff members are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all our students.
We believe in the power of technology to enhance education, which is why we offer Technology 4 Learning (T4L) online resources. These resources, available online from Term 1, provide innovative tech solutions for the classroom. By incorporating technology into our teaching methods, we aim to engage and inspire our students, helping them reach their full potential.
In addition to our academic focus, we also encourage our students to participate in extracurricular activities. We are proud to announce that entries for the Premier's Debating Challenge 2023 are now open to all NSW government schools. This exciting opportunity allows students to showcase their debating skills and engage in intellectual discussions.
Our commitment to arts and culture is evident through our collaboration with the NSW Art Gallery and Mudgee Arts Precinct. We are delighted to feature the artwork "Peace be with you" by Sabry Beshir Mohamed from Ashfield Boys High School. This exhibition highlights the talent and creativity of our students, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment.
At Karningul School, we also value and respect the traditional custodians of the land. We pay homage to the Indigenous people and their Elders, both past and present. It is important to us to maintain a strong connection with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, incorporating their culture and history into our curriculum.

"Very disappointed in the school the teachers and the management of this facility. This school is hopeless and the government needs to shut this school down it is a total waist of our tax payers money. My son attended another behaviour school called Fowler rd for 3 years the teachers there and myself where managing with my sons behaviours. Unfortunately my son is going into high school next year and my son was transferred from Fowler rd to Karningal and almost immediately my wife, myself and all my family members could see the change in my sons behaviour going from bad to worse. There is no communication between the school and the parents, I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy and erg any parent thinking about placing there kid into this school to try any other school instead. This school needs to be shut down"
