What sets Christ the King apart is our nurturing and supportive community. We pride ourselves on knowing each child by name and creating an environment where they feel valued and supported. Choosing Christ the King for your child's education is an excellent decision.
As the principal of Christ the King Catholic School, I am honored to welcome you to our website. Our small Catholic school is an integral part of the vibrant and dynamic Bass Hill parish. We have a strong sense of community, and it is our privilege to work alongside families in developing our children's faith and helping them achieve their full potential.
Our curriculum is rich and varied, embracing 21st-century teaching methods. We strive for excellence in all aspects of education and foster the self-confidence, self-worth, and integrity of each child. Our commitment to providing a high-quality education is reflected in our esteemed reputation within the local community.
At Christ the King, we take great pride in our history and charism. Our school has been a part of the Catholic Community since 1957 when it was established by Josephite Sister Patricia O'Brien and Sister Assunta. They, along with the parish priests, created a warm and welcoming environment for the students of Bass Hill. We continue to embrace our Josephite tradition, inspired by the charism of St. Mary of The Cross Mackillop, who believed in teaching through example.
Our vision is to provide every child with the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential within an engaging, empowering, innovative, and faith-filled community, guided by the light of Christ the King.
We have a strong partnership with the parish of Christ the King, Bass Hill, with our parish priest, Father Dinesh Macwan, working closely with the school. Together, we plan and celebrate liturgies, sacraments, fairs, and Christmas carols. Our community shares a deep devotion to Christ the King and Saint Mary of the Cross Mackillop.
Christ the King Catholic School is part of the Sydney Catholic Schools system, which consists of over 150 low-fee Catholic schools in the Sydney Archdiocese. We are proud to be a part of this thriving Catholic community that ignites a love for Christ through excellent teaching and learning, empowering students to reach their full potential.
We invite you to explore our website and learn more about our wonderful school. You can also watch our School Report and other exciting events on our website. We acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land on which our schools and offices now stand.

"I used to a student here but one day everyone started to ignore me even the teachers when I was crying they just stared"
"This School is awful at taking care of school fees and has terrible teachers!"
"best school ever"
"You're absolutely right BUT for you to have the audacity of saying this is appalling. This school had a reputation of good students and good teachers , quote by one the teachers, “this class is the best I ever taught” referring to the class who did come from kindergarten in 2013, honestly , I believe it’s the actions you/your daughter or son created. @ d a y d r e a m"
"I wish I could give this school a 0! This school is bad at handling situations, especially in the terms of bullying. The students there are horrible, especially the ones that came into kindergarten in 2013!"
