Established in 1983 by Dr Merv Cross, Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Ken Crichton, Sports Medicine Physician, and physiotherapists Greg Craig and Ian Collier, our centre was inspired by Dr Cross's experience at the renowned Hughston Clinic in Georgia, USA. Witnessing the benefits of providing patients with the best available orthopaedic, sports medicine, and physiotherapy care, Dr Cross aimed to bring the same level of expertise and multidisciplinary care to Australia.

Over the years, we have played a leadership role in clinical research and the education of medical professionals through our Fellowship Programs and commitment to the Sydney Orthopaedic Registrar Training Program. Our dedication to continuous learning and advancement ensures that our patients receive the most up-to-date and effective treatments.

In 2009, we moved to the Mater Clinic, fulfilling Dr Cross's vision of providing world-class care on-site. Our state-of-the-art facilities include the latest imaging investigations, allowing for accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
