St Joseph's Catholic Primary School has a rich history, dating back to its establishment in 1892 with 88 students under the guidance of the Sisters of Charity. In 1912, the Sisters of St Joseph's took over the leadership, and the Parish of St Joseph's, Rockdale was established. In recent years, our facilities have undergone minor refurbishments to create a modern school environment.

We have a strong focus on Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop and her devotion to God. We believe that our school values and love for learning will stay with our students as they grow into mature members of society, carrying on Mary MacKillop's vision and serving one another with faith, generosity, and love.

At St Joseph's, we are part of a community united in the person of Jesus Christ and inspired by St Mary MacKillop under the patronage of Saint Joseph. Our energetic and welcoming community extends beyond the school to the Parish of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, Rockdale City.
