As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we have been teaching premium Martial Arts, Self Defence, and Combat Fitness since 1984. The Pit, our diverse Health, Fitness, and Wellbeing Centre, offers a tech-free environment and a calm community feel for all generations. Located in the South West of Sydney, we pride ourselves on being the most traditional in etiquette and complete teachings, while also incorporating modern sports science and mind and body performance training. We provide training in all areas of ultimate combat fitness and martial arts, blending traditional values with the latest sports science.

At Narellan Tai Chi & Meditation School, we specialize in hand techniques, kicking techniques, realistic self-defense, weapon defense, and a combination of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics to produce an impactful cardiovascular workout. We also offer close quarter combat, throwing, grappling, joint locking, striking, and weapon defense, as well as training in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Ju Jitsu, Japanese Weaponry, Tai Chi, Qigong, Meditation, Boxing, and Kickboxing.

We are an approved Active Kids Provider and offer specialist, professional, instructional tuition in all combat arts, fitness, and well-being. Our founder, Master Nick Donato, celebrates 55 years of Combat Arts in 2023 and is dedicated to teaching, coaching, and inspiring members of all ages in the Macarthur Community. His team of highly qualified instructors and coaches share his passion for imparting the true essence of Martial Arts.

The Personal Defence Studios - The PIT is home to a wonderful community of people with big achievements, endless goals, and a no quit attitude. We offer a face-to-face service, so feel free to visit us at any time. In recognition of his service to the community, Master Nick Donato was nominated for 'The Pride of Australia' Award in October 2018 and won 'Grandmaster of the Year - Australia' (WHFSC) in August 2019.
