Originating in 1944, Taekwondo, which translates to "way of striking with hand and foot," is a dynamic form of martial arts known for its powerful kicks and strikes using both hands and feet. Our institution proudly upholds the traditions and techniques of this discipline, providing a comprehensive training experience for our students.

Led by Grandmaster Park, a highly respected authority in the field, Lion Park's Tae Kwon Do Academy has been a pillar of excellence in the Hills, Hornsby, and Western Sydney regions for nearly four decades. Grandmaster Park holds a Kukkiwon-recognized 9th dan black belt in WT Taekwondo, and he is a first-generation practitioner of Song Moo Kwan Taekwondo, having studied under the school's founding father, Supreme Grandmaster Ro.

At our academy, all of our instructors have undergone personal training with Grandmaster Park and hold a Kukkiwon-certified instructor-grade black belt ranging from 4th to 7th dan. We take pride in our commitment to excellence and ensure that our students receive the highest quality instruction.

The symbol of Song Moo Kwan, our lineage, is the pine tree, symbolizing resilience, strength, and youthfulness. Just like the evergreen pine tree, we aim to develop our students' physical flexibility, confidence, discipline, leadership, and responsibility. Our instructors work collaboratively with students to cultivate strength of body, mind, and spirit.
