About St Therese Catholic Primary School
Welcome to St Therese Catholic Primary School located in Sadleir, Australia. Our school is a place where we live by our motto, "Simplex Caritas" - Simple Love. Our main focus is nurturing students' faith development and providing a happy and safe environment for them to flourish.
At St Therese, we have a team of passionate and innovative educators who are dedicated to getting to know each child personally. By working together, we are able to recognize and cater to the individual needs of our students in a vibrant learning environment. Our goal is to equip them with the skills they need to not only think outside the box but also have the passion to redesign it.
As the principal of St Therese Catholic Primary School, I am thrilled to welcome you to our website and share our vision of providing an outstanding Catholic education for students from Preschool to Year 6. Our highly skilled and committed teaching and support staff ensure that every student receives the best possible opportunities. We are focused on enabling all students to "live the gospel, learn for life, and meet the challenge" through a rigorous curriculum and personalized learning.
We are proud to be recognized as an Apple Distinguished School, a global leader in education. This accreditation acknowledges our integration of technology into our students' learning and our commitment to leadership and reflective professional practice. Only a select few educational institutions globally have received this recognition, and we are honored to be among them.
Our teaching methods and practices reflect the needs of our students and the world they live in. We foster strong working relationships between students, friends, and staff members. We also believe that education is a partnership between educators and parents, and we warmly welcome your participation and support.
At St Therese, our policies, procedures, and approach to pastoral care are deeply rooted in our Catholic values. We are fortunate to have the support of our Parish Priest, Fr. Paul Monkerud, who guides us in our spiritual journey.
Our website aims to reflect the dynamic nature of our St Therese community, and we invite you to follow our unfolding story through this platform. We have a rich history built on the legacy of our early pioneers, and we celebrate the deep community spirit they instilled in us.
Our mission is to provide a nurturing and empowering learning environment where students become confident and resilient learners. Each individual is valued and respected, and we encourage them to take risks and strive for excellence in our innovative learning spaces.
We also have a strong connection with our parish, and we come together for Parish Family Masses, Feast Day celebrations, and whole school events to share our faith and build friendships. Our devotion to St Therese is evident in our beautiful statues, which serve as places of prayer within our school and parish.
Our school is part of the Sydney Catholic Schools system, which consists of over 150 low-fee Catholic schools. We are proud to be part of a thriving Catholic community that ignites a love for Christ through excellent teaching and learning, empowering students to reach their full potential.
We acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land on which our schools and offices stand. We honor the Elders past and present for their stewardship of the land.
Thank you for visiting our website, and we hope you join us in our mission to provide a quality Catholic education to our students.

Meanwhile I already bought ticket then I have to buy new ticket for my son come back to enroll, it’s cost me 4 thousands but when my some come back to enroll they said he is too late. they dont tell exactly the day to come and then my son cant enroll."
"This is a very welcoming school. They have very friendly caring and beautiful teachers. Compared to the other Catholic schools in the area this school has the most warm, sweetest and kindest teachers by far. They have a great learning system here and I encourage any parent to send their kids here for sure."
