At Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre, we understand the importance of equipping children with essential swimming and water safety skills. Our goal is to instill confidence in them so they can safely enjoy swimming for life. We believe that as a parent or carer, it is your role to actively supervise your children when they are in the water. For children under 5, it is important to keep them within arms reach, and for children under 10, active visual supervision is required.
We invite you to be a part of the swimming journey by enrolling your child in our GOswim program. This program focuses on teaching the essential life skills of swimming and water safety. It's a great opportunity for your child to learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment.
Our facility offers the best in swimming, fitness, and fun. We cater to the needs of the Lidcombe/Auburn community and surrounding suburbs with our multi-activity facility. If you're looking to stay active, our full functional gym and over 30 group exercise classes each week will keep you motivated and moving. You'll be well on your way to becoming fitter and healthier than ever before.
Our GOswim program offers swimming lessons for all ages, starting from 6 months with our Splish Splash program up to our GOswim Academy developmental squads. We believe that swimming is not only enjoyable but also invigorating. It positively improves health in several ways and serves as a key activity in the lifestyle routines of many.
Safety is our top priority, and we encourage swimming with companions to reduce risks involved with swimming alone. Swimming with responsible peers ensures immediate assistance is available, reduces vulnerability to accidents, and increases recognition of potential health risks.
Waterways Safety Week is an important event in our GOswim lessons. From 12 - 18 June, our GOswim friends will be teaching important water safety skills and strategies for different waterways, including the beach, lakes, rivers, and more. It's crucial for you and your child to learn how to stay safe in different waterways, as it can have life-saving benefits.
We also understand the importance of creating a safe environment in and around the home to prevent accidents and injuries. Children drowning in home pools often happens accidentally and silently. That's why we provide tips on how to prioritize safety measures and watch out for unsuspecting hazards.
In summary, Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre offers a wide range of facilities and programs for all ages and abilities. We are committed to providing the best health and leisure services possible. Join us today and experience the best in swimming, fitness, and fun.

Reviews
"The Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre is just most wonderful place. I feel blessed to have discovered it. The swim school is excellent and they go out of their way to make sure everyone has a chance to learn to swim. Mick, Marley and Zuhal are great teachers, the best I found in Sydney. They are patient and inclusive and fun - masters of their profession. There's a chance for people of all different backgrounds to swim, and everyone's modesty is respected. Just to see everyone here learning to swim, from all different ages and backgrounds will renew your faith in humanity."
"Very poor customer service. Half of the staffs here has no idea about what they sre doing. First lap voucher can only be used after 8 weeks of payment. Had to cancel our membership due to winter time. Rang up too many time trying to sorted it out but nothing happened and we kept getting charged"
"Mick Garvey is the best swim coach I have ever come across! He helped build my confidence in water and he is all about water safety. From someone who had a fear of drowning, I now swim more than 20 laps in the 50m outdoor pool comfortably. It is crazy to think that it only took me less than 6 months of weekly adult classes to be able to swim without aid! Thanks again to Belgravia team and Mick. I am forever grateful :)"
"I have been receiving lessons from Mick for sometime now, and I am satisfied with my training. He is very professional and friendly. He always tries his best to teach, while focusing each individual in the class. He remains in the water the whole time, demonstrates techniques and helps you perform it repeatedly."
"Do not use the swim school here it is terrible. If only it was because the lessons were mediocre at best, no enthusiasm or even asking children’s names. The aquatic centre signs you up to active world and has debit success a seperate company handle payments. They overcharged me originally and kept trying to spam my account for more money!! I brought this up with so many people and I was either ignored or staff were not trained. I have email and sms receipts to prove this. I asked for the membership to be cancelled over a month ago and it has been ignored while they continue to try and charge me. There is no option to cancel your child’s membership online yourself and now they have sent my account to debt collectors when they made the mistake of overcharging me and ignoring me. DO NOT GO HERE!! I will attach screenshots and emails when I get home proving how bad this place is!"
