Mascot Public School
About the Business
Welcome to Mascot Public School, an establishment and point of interest located at King Street in Mascot, Australia. Since 1922, we have been dedicated to providing excellence in education within a caring environment.
At Mascot Public School, our staff members are committed to inspiring and guiding students towards a dynamic future. We believe in an integrated, comprehensive, explicit, and creative curriculum that meets the academic, social, and emotional needs of our learners. Our goal is to promote a strong sense of social awareness and responsibility, and we strive to improve student outcomes through clear, consistent, and efficient communication.
We understand the importance of positive and respectful relationships between students, parents, community, and staff. By fostering these relationships, we create an atmosphere of warmth, support, and well-being. We also emphasize the embedding of appropriate values and the development of positive personal attributes, which underpin everything we do.
Mascot Public School is well-resourced and staffed by caring and experienced teachers. Our strengths lie in student welfare, discipline, academic achievements, cultural activities, and sporting accomplishments, all of which support the holistic development of each student.
We have a high focus on academic growth and continuous improvement in literacy, numeracy, student well-being, and leadership. Through a range of inclusive programs, we ensure that all class programs are differentiated to meet the diverse learning needs of our students, including gifted students, English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) students, and those requiring learning support.
We believe that high expectations are directly linked to higher achievement and performance for all students. Therefore, we employ explicit teaching practices that clearly show students what to do and how to do it, empowering them to reach their full potential.
If you're a parent or caregiver seeking an engaging and educational activity to enjoy with your kids, Mascot Public School offers opportunities for airport enthusiasts and various events throughout the year, such as Education Week, which celebrates the achievements of NSW public education.
Lastly, we would like to pay our respects and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands. We also pay respect to Elders, both past and present, as we strive to create an inclusive and culturally rich learning environment.

"Mascot Public School is one of the oldest schools in Australia in Australian history of farming. Was a school boy from last part of 1955 to 1958. I was born with dyslexia and asked to spell labour I spelled it labor . Then I was asked to spell gaol and iI spelled it jail. Goal & gaol are a like. As you get older you get better a spelling.
