"Fresh food: FoodWorks has a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats. The produce is always fresh and of good quality. I especially like the selection of organic produce. Variety of items: FoodWorks has a wide variety of items to choose from, including groceries, household supplies, and even clothing. I can usually find everything I need at FoodWorks, without having to go to multiple stores. Plenty of parking: FoodWorks has a large parking lot, so it's easy to find a spot. This is especially important during busy times, such as weekends and holidays. Poor customer service: The customer service at FoodWorks is not always great. I've had some experiences with rude and unhelpful employees. This is something that the store could definitely improve on. Overall, I would give FoodWorks a 3 star rating. It's a great store with a lot to offer, but the customer service could be improved. Here are some specific suggestions for how FoodWorks can improve their customer service: Train employees to be more friendly and helpful. Create a customer service hotline that customers can call with questions or complaints. Offer incentives to employees for providing excellent customer service. I believe that these changes would make FoodWorks a 5 star store"
"This is probably one of the best places to shop for continental products, there isn't as much variety of western style products. I would do my shopping here first and then shop elsewhere for the rest. The service here is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend shopping here first."
"My Mother attended the halal butchers to do some shopping. Whilst in store she was verbally abused and intimidated by a male in his 40s. My mother is 62 years old, the place was packed with staff & shoppers and no one said anything let alone lent a helping hand. We’ve been going to this store for years, today that stops. No compassion or empathy was shown in that store today."
"The bald middle aged guy in the butcher shop doesn’t know how to speak to people. I ordered beef bone marrow (which they were selling frozen), asked him to cut it for me cause it’s impossible to cut without a machine. 2 times he brought it back cut into gigantic pieces (does he think I’m serving dogs????). I asked him politely to cut it into smaller pieces, he said it’s hard to cut. To which I responded how does he expect me to cut at home? He said it’s not his problem. Then I asked how could we eat or cook it if it’s this gigantic size. To which he responded just boil it and eat with you mouth. What does that even mean??? Absolutely appalling behaviour. Lacks basic common sense and doesn’t even know how to speak to people."
"Very nice supermarket with all Arab stuff and halal meat options. Staff are very friendly. Prices are very reasonable."
