Mary MacKillop Catholic College Wakeley proudly continues the tradition and charism of the Sisters of St Joseph and their founder, Mary MacKillop, Australia's first saint. We honor her legacy by providing education to all young people, including those who are underprivileged.
Our college is uniquely designed in the shape of the Josephite Cross and boasts modern facilities that provide an optimal backdrop for learning. We believe in the words of Mary MacKillop, "Never see a need without doing something about it," and we strive to embody her values of compassion, courage, excellence, hope, justice, love, respect, and service.
As a Catholic community, we witness our faith through prayer, liturgy, and acts of social justice. We have strong links with the priests of St Gertrude's Smithfield and other parishes in the area. Our parish priests celebrate the Eucharist on college feast days and lead our weekly year group Masses, Adoration, and Reconciliation.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which our schools and offices now stand and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

"On every visit to this school, I am happy to deal with the teaching staff, especially with the receptionist, because she deals wonderfully, facilitates and helps beautifully, and for that I would like to say thank you from my heart"
"You should go to this school. So nice"
"Trash. This place cares more about what type of bag you use rather than education. They make you buy 90 dollar school bags and bring them to school even though they banned them and are to be in lockers at all times. Students are forced to used weak, A4 sized tote bags that supposedly hold everything for two classes (inconsiderate of practical subjects like food tech/hospo, art, etc). “Students should be seen and not heard” is how I sum this place up. Don’t waste your time or money here."
