About the Business
Welcome to Bossley Park High School! Located at 36-44 Prairie Vale Road in Bossley Park, Australia, we are a secondary school dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our students.
At Bossley Park High School, we offer a range of programs designed to enhance student engagement and promote personal growth. One such program is the Wheels of Change program, specifically tailored for Year 7 students. Through mentoring and goal-setting, students in this program work towards achieving their individual goals, with small steps of success leading to overall progress. Meetings for selected students are held every Monday during Period 1B.
Our school also hosts the BBB program, a female leadership and empowerment initiative for Year 9 students. Bold, Brave, and Beautiful, this program provides a safe space where girls can express themselves, develop resilience, and celebrate their strengths. The program is divided into three stages, with students participating in weekly discussions during Term 2, volunteering at a local aged care center in Term 3, and taking on leadership roles or community projects in Term 4.
For selected Year 8 students, we offer the Sportinglinx leadership program. Facilitated by STARTTS, this program focuses on developing leadership qualities and teamwork skills in a fun and supportive environment. Students will have the opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills by organizing and running a Gala day for primary students in Term 4. The program runs for one period a week from Term 2-4.
In addition to these programs, our Year 10 VET students contribute to the community by choreographing the Governor Philip King Public School Year 6 Graduation Dance in Terms 3 and 4 as part of their work placement hours.
We also value the involvement of parents and hold regular CSG meetings. The next meeting will be held on the 12th of September 2023, and a Zoom link will be emailed to all parents prior to the event.
At Bossley Park High School, we acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional custodians of the land and honor the Elders, both past and present.

"I go to this school currently and as of late of my 3 years being here, I can say that this school is terrible. I wouldn't want to send my worst enemy there. They have good programs and they do offer some support for the physically impaired, basically anybody with a disability but if you are not in the program or have an invisible disability, you will be deemed as the 'problem kid,' or the bad kid. I can say with confidence that my only good times I have had here was when this girl gave me an vape and then told me I could just sell it because I needed money for food because the school wouldn't provide me anything to eat even after I had asked and told counsellor and staff and had been ignored previous times before. !!Do not send your kid here unless you either want them to end up in juvie, a druggie, a runaway or a burn out kid who doesn't want to talk to you ever!!"
"Regrettably, my time spent at Bossley Park High School left me deeply concerned and dissatisfied. The school's inadequate approach towards addressing bullying is disconcerting, showing a lack of concern for the well-being of its students. Moreover, the excessive and unwarranted meanness displayed by teachers has taken a toll on the mental health of students, failing to provide the supportive environment necessary for growth and learning. I strongly advise against enrolling at Bossley Park High School, as it has proven detrimental to both academic and emotional development. Seek an institution that prioritizes the holistic development and safety of its students."
"As a concerned parent, I feel obliged to share my exceptionally disheartening experience with Bossley Park High School. From the moment my child stepped foot onto the campus, it was evident that this school is a breeding ground for mediocrity and underwhelming educational standards. First and foremost, the faculty at Bossley Park High School is shockingly unqualified and unmotivated. The teachers lack the necessary knowledge and expertise to effectively guide students towards academic success. Instead, they seemed more invested in maintaining a mundane and repetitive curriculum, leaving no room for creativity or critical thinking. Moreover, the lack of attention and support provided to struggling students was truly disconcerting. It was as if the staff had given up on fostering a nurturing environment for personal growth. Furthermore, the facilities at Bossley Park High School are nothing short of decrepit. The classrooms are cramped, outdated, and poorly maintained, creating an atmosphere of discomfort and hindered learning. The library is nothing more than a dimly lit room filled with outdated and irrelevant books, offering no value to students seeking to expand their knowledge beyond the limited curriculum. The athletic facilities are equally disappointing, as the equipment is old and in disrepair, failing to provide a safe and conducive space for physical activities. The administration at Bossley Park High School is another major letdown. Their lack of organization and communication skills is apparent in every aspect of the school's operations. Simple tasks such as scheduling parent-teacher conferences or addressing concerns are met with unnecessary delays and a lack of accountability. It is disheartening to see an administration that is so disconnected from the needs and well-being of the students and parents. In terms of extracurricular activities, Bossley Park High School offers a meager selection of options. The limited variety of clubs and sports teams fails to cater to the diverse interests and talents of their student body. This lack of opportunities for students to explore their passions and develop their skills outside the classroom is a clear indication of the school's unambitious approach to education. In conclusion, I strongly discourage any parent or student from considering Bossley Park High School as their educational institution of choice. The combination of subpar faculty, inadequate facilities, ineffectual administration, and limited extracurricular offerings make for an overall disheartening and unsatisfactory educational experience. It is evident that Bossley Park High School prioritizes mediocrity over excellence and fails to provide the necessary nurturing environment for students to flourish academically and personally."
"As someone passionate about education and nurturing a positive learning environment, I must express my deep disappointment with Bossley Park High School. It is disheartening to witness a complete lack of programs for addressing bullying, coupled with an apparent disregard for the mental health of students. The excessive harshness displayed by the teachers without valid reasons only adds to the distress. I strongly advise all prospective students and parents to reconsider their choice and seek an institution that prioritizes the well-being and growth of its students."
