Welcome to Aspect Macarthur School, a warm and supportive learning environment located in Cobbitty, Australia. Our institution is dedicated to providing quality education for students on the autism spectrum. With over 100 students from the Macarthur region and Northern NSW, we strive to create a nurturing atmosphere where every student can thrive.

At our main campus in Cobbitty, we have seven Infants and Primary classes, while our satellite classes are located in Holsworthy, Minto, Campbelltown, West Hoxton, and Airds within the NSW Department of Education and Catholic Schools. Additionally, we have a main site campus in Coffs Harbour, making Aspect Macarthur a unique and widely spread institution.

Since our establishment in 2010, we have been using the Aspect Comprehensive Approach to provide individualized education programs. By understanding, engaging, and celebrating the strengths, interests, and aspirations of our students, we create tailored programs that meet their specific needs. Our dedicated staff continuously strive for improvement and value the importance of positive home/school relationships, working closely with families to develop confidence and skills that support students' transition to less specialized settings and inclusion in their local community.

We encourage all interested parties to reach out to us, as we conduct regular pre-enrollment tours that include a presentation about Aspect and our education program, as well as a tour of our main school site. Aspect Macarthur is registered and accredited by the New South Wales Education Standards Authority, following the NSW curriculum. Our students are involved in a range of compulsory subjects complemented by electives, and we make relevant adjustments to ensure positive learning opportunities for each individual.

Technology plays a crucial role in our classrooms, complementing the learning process. We understand that every student has unique needs, and we closely monitor the use of technology to ensure it is not the sole means of delivering our program. Our Positive Behavior Support (PBS) approach helps our students regulate their behavior by understanding that challenging behavior is a form of communication. We focus on their strengths and special interests to motivate learning and celebrate their diversity and talents.

The Aspect Comprehensive Approach supports all areas of a child's development.
