To support working parents, we offer Before and After School Care services operated by the YMCA right on our school premises. Starting from 6:30am, trained YMCA staff provide supervision for children before school. After school, from 3:25pm to 6:30pm, YMCA staff continue to provide a safe and engaging environment for students. Our dedicated teachers also supervise children during recess and lunch breaks.

Our programs are designed with the children's interests at heart. We encourage them to participate in exciting and stimulating play experiences that allow them to explore their talents and potential. From team sports to dancing, indoor discussions, art and craft activities, and even homework, we strive to provide a well-rounded educational experience.

Promoting healthy lifestyles is a priority at Picton Public School. We offer breakfast and afternoon tea in accordance with healthy eating guidelines, ensuring that our students have the fuel they need to thrive. We also encourage outdoor active play to keep their bodies and minds active.

As an institution, we recognize and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands. We also extend our respect to Elders, both past and present.
