It took a day to turn a raw piece of gold into a shining hammered ring, and her advice and help along the way made them come out great. It was so much fun and the resulting rings are all the more special for the experience. Several (already-married) people have seemed almost jealous when they found out that making your own rings was a possibility and saw how ours came out!"

We made each other's rings over two weeknight sessions and were involved in every stage of the process: designing prototypes, cutting and shaping the metal, using blowtorches to solder the rings together, and polishing and finishing.
