"A really nice little spot to have authentic, tasty ramen! The Spicy Gaku Ramen brought us back to Japan. The service was also really lovely. I’d recommend getting to the restaurant at least 10-15 minutes before open. They have quite the following so the restaurant was full only 2 minutes after the doors opened."
"Love the atmosphere in this place. Bar only seats about 10 people and 1 group table of about 8. Very cosy restaurant. Set menu is only $100pp and we were very full. With drinks, getting otoro sushi each and foie gras rice was $200pp but so worth it. Highly recommend! Japanese chefs too which is authentic! Would come back."
"Came for dinner, having wanted to since having the best ramen ever one lunchtime. The service is exemplary from when you enter and the space is intimate. There’s one table for a larger group, with most seating along a bar facing the chefs. Each dish was served in beautifully chosen dishes and elevated beyond the expected. There’s familiar dishes, such as karage and sashimi, with interesting additions, like the six small vegetables, which was much more exciting than the title, I’ve included a photo. There’s also Robata crab and the ability to add sea urchin to dishes if you’re after more luxury. It’s a relaxing and inspiring place, with amazing food, atmosphere and service. I will definitely be back! (It probably wouldn’t suit people with mobility issues, the bathroom is outside down a flight of stairs)"
"It's easily some of the best Japanese food in Sydney. The ramen at lunchtime is next level, too, and I love they are doing more than the typical Tonkotsu ramen that every ramen ya seems to do in Sydney."
