Reviews of Collectables at Picton
"I have been to numerous similar stores in past few years. That one is definitely the worst. One of the staffs there is quite rude and ruined our trip for sure."
"This cluttered shop is full of useless second hand rubbish and their customer service is the same. I was interested in a stitch kit and politely asked if they could open it for me to see if all the contents are intact before buying. The reason I asked to open is because it was obvious from the damaged sealing that the packet had already been opened before so I could not be sure the kit is all there. The lady at the counter was not willing to show me that the contents are all there, making up dishonest excuses about being unable to put everything back and sell it if I don't buy it. In the end I had to promise to buy the kit before she agreed to open it (and she was able to repack it just fine!). She was pretty rude and stand-offish the whole time. What unethical sales tactics!! Finally after I bought the kit they were unable to give me a receipt because their printer was jammed and they wanted my name and details to give a handwritten invoice, which is an unnecessary invasion of privacy. Would not recommend going here at all."
"Perfect shop to find those hidden gems. I would definitely recommend spending time in there. Great staff and friendly atmosphere."
"What a quaint lovely little antique store. Not a huge shop but packed with many treasures. Definitely worth a browse"
