Willoughby Park Playground
About the Business
Welcome to Willoughby Park Playground, located in North Willoughby, McClelland Street, Australia. This establishment is a must-visit point of interest in the area. Please note that Council's waste contractors were unable to complete the vegetation bin collection on Thu 31 Aug in the Chatswood and Chatswood West areas. Residents affected are advised to leave their bins out for collection as soon as possible.
One of the highlights of this park is its remnant Blue Gum High Forest vegetation, which is an endangered ecological community. This makes Willoughby Park Playground a unique and important natural space in the region.
If you're looking to explore more parks in the area, Artarmon Park is another great option. Situated at Cnr Parkes Rd and Hampden Rd, Artarmon 2064, this park is named after Ardthelmon (or "Artarmon") Castle, the Irish home of William Gore. For those interested in the history of the area, Barambah Reserve and Barcoo Reserve are worth visiting. Barambah Reserve, located between nos 18 and 34 Barambah S, Roseville 2069, is named after Alderman Joseph Bales, Mayor of Willoughby in the 1930s and 1940s. Barcoo Reserve, situated between 52 and 54 Barcoo St, Roseville 2069, pays tribute to Gregory Bartels, AM, a former member of Willoughby City Council who served in various capacities from 1983 to 1993, including as Mayor.
If you happen to be in the vicinity of the Phyllis Burke Complex, make sure to visit the central courtyard at 15-17 Barton Road, Artarmon 2064. This area serves as a community garden for the residents of the complex, providing a space for them to connect with nature and grow their own produce.
Lastly, Willoughby City Council acknowledges and respects the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we stand, the Gamaragal people. We pay tribute to their Elders, both past and present, and recognize their deep connection to the land.

Reviews
"Great little playground with simple well spaced equipment. Monkey bars, climbing platform, trampolines, lots of swings."
"Great playground with a zipline, trampolines, small bike path, percussion and big slide. There is also a pergola with BBQ facility and some tables and seating. This park is also adjoining an open dog park and bathrooms. The willow kiosk coffee shop is on the far side of the dog park for your coffee fix. There is limited street parking just outside the park."
"Great playground for 3-5 year olds!! Probably one of the best around the lower north shore. It's fully fenced and shaded. Public toilets nearby, very spacey. I REALLY wish there was a cafe nearby though!"
"Love going there. Lots of different sections and equipment. Toilets nearby and easy parking on the street."
"Great place for kids who are on their r feet with built in trampolines, a small tunnel, plenty of swings, and both and open and enclosed area to roam around."
