About the Business
Welcome to SCEGGS Darlinghurst, a prestigious establishment located in Darlinghurst, Forbes Street, Australia. As a renowned school, we believe that it's the girls who make the uniform, not the other way around. Our institution relies on our girls to transform SCEGGS, and in return, they will forever be transformed.
At SCEGGS Darlinghurst, we strive to foster a community of distinctive, accomplished, articulate, confident, compassionate, understanding individuals who are constantly evolving. We are proud to congratulate Dr Phoebe Meagher, Taronga's Research and Pathology Coordinator, for being recognized as a Superstar of STEM. This initiative by Science and Technology Australia aims to highlight Australian female scientists and technologists as role models for young women and girls, promoting equal representation in STEM fields.
Elizabeth Elliott AM, our esteemed Professor in Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of Sydney and Consultant Paediatrician at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, has dedicated her career to improving the health and quality of life for children in Australia and beyond. Through education, research, clinical care, and advocacy, she has made a significant impact.
Marshall, an exceptional young talent, has been regarded as Australia's premier female breaststroker. Despite her young age of 15, she finished fourth at the Beijing Olympic trials and has been knocking on the door of the national team ever since.

To further enhance our facilities and expand our scholarship program, the SCEGGS Trust launched the Light Her Path campaign. Our goal for 2021 is to raise at least $12 million to contribute to the redevelopment of Wilkinson House, originally named Gwydir Flats.
We are thrilled to welcome Minnie, Mrs Dempsey's family dog, to our Primary School as part of our trial wellbeing program called "Waggy Wednesday." "I am from Vietnam in the next 4 years I will come to Australia and study at this school"
"Andrew Neiman is a first-year student and jazz drummer at the prestigious Shaffer Conservatory in New York City, hoping one day to leave a legacy like that of his childhood idol, jazz drummer Buddy Rich. Terence Fletcher, the conductor of the Shaffer Conservatory Studio Band, recruits him to play in the Studio ensemble as an alternate for core drummer Carl Tanner. Andrew quickly discovers that Fletcher is relentlessly strict, emotionally manipulative, and abusive to his students; he slaps and berates Andrew when he fails to keep tempo during the ensemble's rehearsal of Hank Levy's titular piece, "Whiplash." Determined to impress Fletcher, Andrew intensifies his drum practicing. After their first set at a jazz competition, Andrew misplaces Tanner's sheet music. Since Tanner cannot play without the sheets, Andrew replaces him for the next set. After a successful performance of "Whiplash," Fletcher promotes Andrew to the core drummer. However, Andrew is taken aback when Fletcher abruptly gives the position to Ryan Connolly, a drummer from a lower-level ensemble within Shaffer. Because of his single-mindedness toward music, Andrew's relationship with his family deteriorates, and he breaks up with his girlfriend, Nicole, to focus on his ambitions. After a grueling five-hour practice session with Tanner and Connolly on "Caravan," Andrew earns back the core position. Ladies and gentleman-Whiplash"
"You know how Po was destined to become the Dragon Warrior in order to save the Valley of Peace on a frequent basis against villains like Tai Lung, Lord Shen, and Kai? And you know about concepts like Orthodox and Reform, and how they can be applied to almost any monastic order, including the Valley of Peace's monastic kung fu order led by Masters Oogway and Shifu? To me, I don't think destiny had anything to do with why Po became the savior of the Valley of Peace. Rather, it's likely that Master Oogway was a Reform kung fu master, compared to Shifu being an Orthodox kung fu master. Now hear me out on this. Master Oogway might be an elderly turtle who eventually died during the middle part of Kung Fu Panda. But the reason why he chose Po over one of the Furious Five to be the Dragon Warrior was because, unlike Shifu, who usually just stuck to the old kung fu traditions, Oogway would instead try to change and reform kung fu from within to help it adapt with modern times."

"I have been going to this Macdonalds for many years now, stopping in every once and a while for a quick snack or sweet treat. There have always been a few flaws, but I have always been able to overlook these. Although my service today was beyond repute, far worse than anything I have come to expect. I ordered a 6 piece McNuggets and a Vanilla Shake, they handed me my meal and it felt a bit light, but I thought nothing of it. When I got back to my car I opened up my McNuggets to find there was only one Nugget! Then when I went back inside they refused me a refund! Disgraceful service, I will not be coming back! NOT HAPPY! IM GOING TO KFC"
