Welcome to Kindy Patch Bligh Park! We are more than just a long day care center – we are an establishment dedicated to providing early education for children from six weeks to six years old. Located on Colonial Drive, our beautiful center offers flexible hours to support your family's busy lifestyle and ensure you make the most of your childcare subsidy.

Our center features open-plan rooms and natural play environments, creating a stimulating atmosphere for your child to thrive. Our experienced educators deliver excellence in early education, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. We understand that choosing the right center for your child is a crucial decision, which is why we offer convenient center tours. During these tours, you'll have the opportunity to observe our practices and interactions, explore all the rooms and playgrounds, and ask our qualified educators any questions you may have. Preparing your child for child care can sometimes be challenging, as separation anxiety is common. To help ease anxieties, we encourage you to visit the center together for a Stay and Play session and gradually introduce new routines at home. We also provide sheets and formula in some centers, so you may not need to pack them.

For nursery children, please remember to bring nappy rash cream, dummies, bottles and teats, comfort toys or blankets, spare outfits, spare socks, and a plastic bag for wet clothes. For toddlers and preschool/kindergarten-aged children, it's best to bring spare underwear, a water bottle or sippy cup, a sun hat, closed-toe shoes, two spare outfits, spare socks, and a plastic bag for wet clothes. Additionally, please remember to bring any items specific to your child's needs, such as breast milk, a sleeping bag, a comforter, or medication. We prioritize the health and well-being of all children at Kindy Patch. If your child shows signs of an infectious illness, we may ask you to make alternative arrangements or pick them up from the center to prevent the spread of infection. We understand that this may be inconvenient, but it is essential for maintaining a healthy environment for all children.

Under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), families are allowed 42 absence days per child, per financial year. These can be taken for any reason, including public holidays and when children are sick, without the need for documentation.
