Welcome to Kookaburra Kindergarten, a renowned establishment located at 11 Park Avenue, Blackheath, Australia. For 70 years, we have been dedicated to providing high-quality preschool education to children aged three through to five.

At Kookaburra Kindergarten, we pride ourselves on our beautiful natural playground, where children can freely run, climb, and explore. They also actively participate in caring for our vegetable garden, learning valuable skills while harvesting delicious tomatoes, spinach, radishes, and carrots.

Kookaburra Kindy is a community-run preschool in Blackheath, New South Wales. We are proud to be rated "Meeting" under the National Quality Standards (NQS) rating system, ensuring the highest standards of education and care. Our play-based learning approach aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), promoting holistic development and a love for learning.

Our kindergarten operates during New South Wales school terms, providing a structured and nurturing environment for your child's growth and development.

For your convenience, we offer a transparent fee schedule. Health care card holders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children can avail our services for just $25 per day, attending a minimum of two days per week. Four-year-olds and three-year-olds are charged $35 per day. Additionally, for those attending one day per week, the fee is $35 per day. Families are also required to pay an annual enrollment fee of $60. We also have an Afternoon Tea Fruit Levy of $10 per day of attendance, payable per term. However, fee relief is available for two days of attendance, bringing the fee to $0.00.
